A project that responded to art direction as a tool for clothes to tell story. The narrative is built around the Sarong, a traditional garment from Indonesia, in which forms the basis of Innervate. This project aims to explore the motion and emotion of a being. Body movements express something that we are feeling, and they express the feeling better than words. The language of movement, like all forms of expression, can be cultivated on the aesthetic level and become an art. The art of bodymovement is dance and this project uses dance as the primary tool for narrating two Indonesian folklores.
