Kimono In:tangible explores the concept of the tangible versus the intangible, as the retail environment converges with the museum space. Examining the value of things- specifically the old and the new, Kimono In:tangible aims to take the essence of the traditional kimono and reinterpret it using the contemporary eye. This exhibition collaborated with Buro 24/7 Singapore in five-part web series that documenting the process of deconstruction and reconstruction to create contemporary fashion garments and artefacts from original, vintage kimonos.
